It’s no joke – Chanel is betting that several of its fragrances may be a popular last-minute gift for anyone looking to impress a mom or wife, with a fragrance that truly defines “splurge.”

The brand has an entire collection of limited edition “Grand Extrait” Parfums, in bottles that seem large enough to last a lifetime – that’s of the “juice” doesn’t go bad. Gardenia is $3,800 for a 30 fl. oz. bottle; Coco Mademoiselle is $1,800 for 7.5 fl. oz.; and the classic Chanel No. 5 is $2,100 for 7.5 oz. and $4200 for 30 fl. oz.

In any case, the packaging is truly impressive – and will certainly make a “grand entrance.”
